Undergraduate Study

Our curriculum features a unique, intellectually diverse mix of courses, and we place a particular emphasis on methods, critical thinking, and research skills to address questions about mind, brain, and behavior.

The CoPsy department houses four specialized undergraduate concentrations (the equivalent of majors at other institutions). Each concentration represents a distinct path to the study of mind, brain, and behavior.
CoPsy's Honors Program gives undergraduates a special opportunity to design and carry out an independent research project under the direction of a faculty member. The program allows students to develop an understanding of research and acquire research skills and background. We encourage all concentrators to consider the Honors Program.
DUGs foster a sense of community within concentrations by organizing events and activities to connect students with peers, professors, and alumni, as well as explore concentration and career opportunities. CoPsy houses three DUGs for their concentrations: Behavioral Decision Science DUG, Cognition DUG for Cognitive Neuroscience & Cognitive Science, and Psychology DUG.
